The Brattleboro, VT steering committee is making big progress! They recently met up and hopped around town putting up posters for TeenLine, a state-wide youth information & referral service. With this, they documented benchmark #7, "youth access to social services," and are hoping to gain approval from the QYD Credentialing Committee.
The steering committee is also submitting documentation of an extraordinary display of quality youth development in their community — voter's approval to allow youth 16 and older to participate in their local elections! With the approval of these two accomplishments, the committee would be just one benchmark away from certification.
